Hauptman Gruber is the Stasi agent who purses Sharon and Dimitri through East Germany. He’s very determined to find Sharon. I think Sean Bean would be a good choice for Gruber. He fits the age range and has rugged looks. He can also bring across that determination Gruber has to capture Sharon.
