Early Years:
SG (Stephanie Gloria) grew up in Manchester, NH. She graduated Manchester Central High School in 1986. Her first attempt at writing was called “The Gemini Saga,” a story about a female superhero from the future.

Early Influences:
Include Marv Wolfman's and George Perez's comic book heroes “The Teen Titans”, Cris Claremont & John Byrne's “X-Men”, VC Andrew's Dollanger Series, The symbolism of Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Victoria Holt.

The Army Years:
In 1986 SG joined the Army and became an MP (Military Police). Her assignments include:
