I'm a 4RV Author. My children's story, "THE GIVING MEADOW" is set to be released in the spring of 2010.

My first story in the New England History Series, "THE 1ST FLAG OF NEW HAMPSHIRE" is set to be released in early 2011.

I'm also a Desert Breeze Publishing Author. My paranormal romance, "THE HUNGARIAN" is due to be released in May 2010. It will be available on EBook through Desert Breeze Publishing. This book will be released under my name, "Stephanie Burkhart."

On this site you'll find a little sampling of my various writings. There's comprehensive "behind the scenes" menus of my published novel length works. There's a selection of poems, and also a section dedicated to my fan fiction writing featuring the "OLTL Satire." There's also fun stuff to do including polls, a guest book, and an interactive blog at Adventures in Moldavia, so come on and inspire the muse in you!

Some of my works published with IUniverse include: "All That Remains," and "Are Your Dirty Little Secrets." "Are Your Dirty Little Secrets" was selected by IUniverse for the "Editor's Choice" award. "Across the Fickle Winds of History," was published with Lulu.

"The Wolf's Torment," was released in June 2007 and "Destination: Berlin," was re-leased August 2007. Currently, I'm working on TWILIGHT OVER MOLDAVIA which is the sequel to THE WOLF'S TORMENT and the sequel to THE HUNGARIAN, THE COUNT'S LIAR.

In 2006, I received an "Honorable Mention" in the 75th Writer's Digest Fiction Contest, "Genre Fiction," for my story, THE MUSIC BOX.

In 2007, I received an "Honorable Mention" in the 76th Writer's Digest Fiction Contest, "Genre Fiction," for my story, RED PAINT, CRIMSON BLOOD.

In Mar 2008, I received an "Honorable Mention" in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Contest in Romance for my story, THE WOLF'S KISS.

In Mar 2008, I received an "Honorable Mention" in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Contest in Thriller/Suspense for my story, THE PEENEMUNDE SECRET.

In Oct 2008, I received 8th Place in the 77th Writer's Digest Fiction Contest, "Mainstream/Literary" for my story, SPONTANEOUS DECISION.

In Oct 2008, I received ah "Honorable Mention" in the 77th Writer's Digest Fiction Contest, "Genre Fiction," for my story, THE WATCH TOWER.

From 1999-2001 I honed my writing skills becoming an accomplished fan fiction writer. I wrote fan fiction for daytime drama "One Life To Live." The "OLTL Satire" is a humorous behind the scenes look of what goes on behind a soap opera. The Satire has been recognized as one of the best-written daytime drama's fan fiction.
